Slowine, Company
Slowine is a range of happily affordable wines that invite you to enjoy some quality time with friends and family.
Slowine is a partnership brand started in 2005 with Paul Cluver Wines, Villiersdorp Cellars, Beaumont Wines and Luddite Wines. These producers were linked by virtue of their proximity around the Greenland Mountain, their industry and their Overberg lifestyle. A lifestyle in line with the concept of 'Slow living'
In this fast-paced world we live in, it's good to have a reminder that fast is not always better - in fact it can be just the opposite.
In 2008 the partnership structure changed with Villiersdorp Cellars buying out Paul Cluver Wines effectively handing over all aspects of management, production, marketing and sales of Slowine to Villiersdorp Cellars. At the same time, Villiersdorp Cellars underwent major restructuring and was renamed Theewaterskloof Cellars.
